SHIFT IS FULL-TIME 3:30PM - 12:00AM.

 

Highwater Detox & Treatment Center, located in Granada Hills, CA is an upscale 12 beds detox and residential drug and alcohol treatment facility.

 

Seeking Position

 

Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician (RADT) or Registered Addiction Counselor (RAC). The Residential Technician is responsible for assisting and carrying out a variety of clinical and program services. This person is an essential role in the assurance of the admitting process, orientation to new residents and overall resident management. We are seeking a qualified candidate who displays professionalism, practices ethical principles, is detail-oriented and reliable. 

 

Additionally

 

• 
  Supervises self-administration of resident medications
• 
  Facilities assigned groups/meetings/activities and documents observations/milieu interventions in resident records/shift log during every shift/group
• 
  Facilities daily activities in a residential component; waking up residents, chores supervision, assists with laundry, etc.
• 
  Drives clients to outside meetings, outings, appointments, etc.

 

Job Requirements

 

• 
  Minimum of a high school diploma (college degree preferred)
• 
  Minimum of one (1) year training/experience in addiction preferred and/or currently pursuing a degree in addiction or related behavioral health field. Experience must include at least one (1) year of experience with target population (chemical dependency and/or mental health)

 

Skill Requirements

 

• 
  Strong documentation skills
• 
  Experience in KIPU is a plus

 

License

 

• 
  RADT or RAC or of similar registration (required)
• 
  Valid driver's license with clean record (mandatory)
• 
  CPR & First-Aid Certificate
