Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient travel assignment in Brenham, TX, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and an active TX PT license.

Details

• 13-week travel assignment located in Brenham, TX
• Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM; no weekend shifts
• Inpatient physical therapy setting within a rehabilitation department
• Responsibilities span evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, patient education, and discharge planning

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required
• Active TX PT license required (TX or Compact); license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• Proficiency with multiple computer systems and standard rehabilitation equipment
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills required
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Date of birth and SSN required for consideration
• Flu vaccination is mandatory; no exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include modifying therapy programs and goals based on patient progress, accurate charge entry, and clinical documentation
• Role includes supervision of support staff, students, and volunteers
• Expected to communicate effectively with patients, families, and the broader care team
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local travelers are not accepted
