Mortgage Loan Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant to support Loan Officers with pipeline management, loan processing coordination, and client communication. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of mortgage lending programs, excellent organizational skills, and an interest in supporting both loan operations and sales efforts. Key Responsibilities Assist Loan Officers with managing and monitoring the mortgage loan pipeline from application through closing. Request, collect, and review loan documentation to ensure files are complete and meet program requirements. Maintain a strong understanding of various mortgage loan programs, including Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, and Non-QM. Communicate with clients throughout the mortgage process, providing updates and following up on outstanding documentation. Follow up on leads, assist with client outreach, and support Loan Officers with sales and business development efforts. Track loan progress, monitor outstanding conditions, and help ensure timely closings. Maintain accurate loan files and update information within the loan origination system (LOS). Qualifications Previous experience in mortgage lending, loan processing, or as a Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant. Strong understanding of mortgage loan programs, guidelines, and documentation requirements. Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-up skills. Ability to manage multiple loans and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with loan origination systems.
