Russell Tobin is partnering with a leading chemical research and manufacturing company to identify a Distillation Chemistfor an opportunity in Danbury, CT. (2nd shift)

Additional Details:

• Location: Danbury, CT

• Full time Role

• Pay rate: $55k/annum to $60k/ Annum

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and adjust distillation equipment to purify organic chemicals.

• Operate heating, cooling, vacuum, pressure, pumps, piping, and valve systems.

• Perform GC analysis to evaluate distillation cuts and final product quality.

• Weigh, mix, transport, and pump chemical materials safely and accurately.

• Monitor process parameters to maintain product quality, yield, and consistency.

• Maintain accurate production, safety, inventory, and training records.

• Follow all environmental, health, safety, and company procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.

• 1–5 years of experience in distillation or chemical processing.

• Knowledge of distillation principles and analytical chemistry.

• Hands-on experience with distillation equipment and GC analysis.

• Knowledge of piping and valve operations.

• Ability to perform molar calculations and use metric/U.S. measurements.

• Strong attention to detail, safety, and problem-solving skills.
