General Student Employment - Bookstore Associate

Campus Store Assistant
Provide books, school supplies, spirit gear, sundries, and snacks for the campus. ***This position is only open to Student Workers*** *Up to 15 hours per week*
Description Of Essential Functions
- Provide and maintain a high level of customer service assisting faculty, staff, and students.
- Act as cashier ensuring customer ID, personal, and credit card information is protected.
- Maintain inventory levels and communicate with manager when supplies need to be reordered.
- Keep shelves well stocked and assist with marketing merchandise such as window and in-store displays.
- Assist in planning and organizing in store promotions.
- Assist with end of term buyback.
- Assist with inventory data entry, shipping and receiving to maintain an accurate inventory.
- Keep store in a clean and orderly manner and assist with daily operations.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Must be current degree-seeking student enrolled in at least 6 credits. Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0. Seeking candidates with the following qualities:
- Friendly, outgoing, and able to help provide an inviting atmosphere
- Basic math, computer, and time management skills
- Retail and marketing experience preferred but not required
