The Role

As an Outside Sales Representative , you will manage and grow an assigned territory by developing new business, strengthening existing customer relationships, and providing customers with equipment solutions tailored to their operational needs.

You will receive hands-on training and mentorship designed to prepare high-performing employees for future Outside Sales Branch Manager opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new B2B business through prospecting, relationship building, referrals, and account development.

• Manage an assigned territory and maintain strong relationships with existing commercial customers.

• Meet with customers to understand their equipment needs and recommend appropriate rental, lease, and sales solutions.

• Use a consultative sales approach to identify opportunities, present solutions, negotiate terms, and close business.

• Manage customer accounts, including assisting with credit and collection-related activities.

• Maintain accurate customer, prospect, and sales activity information within CRM and other company systems.

• Monitor territory performance, customer activity, inventory, and key business metrics.

• Partner with internal branch and operations teams to ensure a high level of customer service.

• Participate in training and development designed to prepare you for future branch management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 1–3 years of B2B sales experience preferred.

• Experience managing a sales territory or geographic market is a plus.

• Strong prospecting, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.

• Comfortable working independently in a field-based sales environment.

• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.

• Ability to learn technical products and understand customer business needs.

• Willingness to relocate for a future Branch Manager promotion, typically within 1–2 years.

Compensation & Career Growth

• Base Salary: $50,000–$55,000

• First-Year OTE: Approximately $100,000

• Uncapped commission and performance-based bonus opportunities

• Monthly vehicle allowance of approximately $675
