Systems Analyst

Job TitlePerforms entry-level computer systems contingency and disaster recovery planning and analysis work.Work involves analyzing and identifying contingency and disaster recovery system requirements, procedures, and problems to document processes or to improve existing systems. Writes detailed description of contingency planning user needs, program functions, and steps required to recover develop computer programs or systems with Information Technology Subject Mater Experts. Reviews system capabilities, specifications, and limitations to determine if recovery program or program change is possible within existing system. Works under close supervision, with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.Candidate Skills and QualificationsMinimum Requirements: Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity.Years - Required/Preferred - Experience2 - Required - Experience in systems analysis and design work.2 - Required - Ability to analyze systems and procedures, to write and revise standards and procedures, and to communicate effectively.1 - Required - Skill in solving problems; scheduling, testing, installing, and implementing programs; and troubleshooting computer systems1 - Required - Knowledge of the limitations and capabilities of computer systems, the techniques used in the design of non-automated systems, information technology equipment, applicable programming languages, computer hardware and software, computer operating systems1 - Required - Experience preparing charts, diagrams, tables, and flowcharts to assist in problem analysis and submitting recommendations for solution.2 - Preferred - Experience working in an IT technical operations or development environment with the creation and management of highly detailed actions, tasks, and schedules.1 - Preferred - Experience supporting, planning and implementing contingency plans, recovery guides or disaster recovery documentation for information technology systems.Terms of ServiceServices are expected to start 07/01/2022 and are expected to complete by 09/01/2022. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 1010 hours. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.
