About the Role We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer to build user-facing features across web and mobile. You’ll work closely with product, design, and backend engineers to deliver clean, performant, and scalable experiences. This is a role for someone who wants to be hands‑on in a fast‑paced environment, contributing directly to features while growing their skills as part of a high‑performing engineering team. What You’ll Do Feature Development: Build and ship user‑facing features across mobile (Flutter) and web (React/Next.js). Collaboration: Partner with product and design to translate requirements into intuitive, high‑quality experiences. Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, participating in code reviews and contributing to shared standards. Performance & Reliability: Ensure features are performant, accessible, and resilient at scale. Design System: Contribute to the evolution of Made’s design system and frontend best practices. Problem Solving: Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications across platforms. Continuous Learning: Stay current with frontend technologies and bring ideas to improve our stack and workflows. Ideal Background 3–5+ years of frontend engineering experience . Proficiency with Flutter (Dart) for mobile and React/Next.js (or similar frameworks) for web applications. Track record of shipping high-quality features in consumer‑facing products. Strong understanding of modern JavaScript/TypeScript, component‑based architecture, and responsive design. Collaborative mindset, with experience working closely with product managers and designers. Eagerness to grow technically while contributing to a fast‑moving team. Nice to Have Experience in fintech, credit cards, or other regulated consumer products. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. Familiarity with design systems and modern design tools like Figma Knowledge of accessibility standards and performance optimization. Background in secure data handling, authentication flows, and compliance‑heavy environments Passion for building products that improve people’s financial lives.
