Number of People to Hire : 1 Job Family : Finance Level of Experience : Experienced Professionals Responsibilities Input/learn/report weekly key performance indicators and ensure their accuracy, understand and communicate impact of these measures to the business. Track operations productivity projects, execution, and financial impact. Quickly analyze data, identify variances, and benchmark information against other locations. Perform plant cost accounting functions with emphasis on month end close, material loss and labor variance analysis, spare parts, fixed assets, and report preparation for use by Corporate HQ and local plant management. Assist Plant Controller in the preparation, review and analysis of plant level budgets and forecasts. Identify gaps in financial controls & analysis and develop effective processes to close shortfalls. Review and approve monthly reconciliations for submission to corporate consolidation. Multitask and prioritize in a Continuous Improvement manufacturing environment. Proficiency in extracting data from SAP and loading into Excel for clear analytical reviews. Create SOPs and conduct reviews; request changes as necessary. Aid Operations to identify, document, and implement solutions for issues within the production process. Communicate effectively with multiple plant departments (e.g., packaging, processing, maintenance). Assist in the purchase order process for locally procured goods and services. Manage and assist with special projects. Contribute to the annual strategic business plan and rolling forecast for expenses based on forecasted volume. Perform other assigned tasks/duties as needed. Qualifications You have a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field, required. Candidates without a completed Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or related field may be considered if they have 5-7 years in a manufacturing environment within a materials, planning, or supply chain role and demonstrated ability to understand and interpret financial budgets and analysis and have exceptional Excel skills. You have a minimum 2 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred. Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); ERP systems experience (SAP preferred) required. Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in Power BI, including report creation, dashboard design, and data model modification. Solid interpersonal, analytical and technical skills, required. Ability to communicate complex accounting information verbally and in writing, required. Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, prioritize, adapt and be flexible, required. Resilient, proactive, and able to anticipate business needs. Ability to support a 24/7 manufacturing environment as business needs dictate. Salary and Benefits The salary range for this position is $73k-99k USD. The exact salary offered will depend on factors including relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions.
