Senior Desktop Support Engineer

Senior Desktop Support Engineer | Financial Services Boston, MA (Hybrid) | $125K + Bonus A global investment firm is seeking a Desktop Engineer to join its Boston-based infrastructure team. This is a hands-on role supporting approximately 350 users across international offices, offering exposure to a wide range of technologies and direct engagement with business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Provide end-to-end technical support (Tier 1-3) across desktop, application, and infrastructure environments Troubleshoot hardware and software issues; own service tickets through resolution Support and maintain Windows 11, Active Directory, SCCM, Citrix, and Azure environments Build and image laptops; contribute to automation and process improvement Participate in a light on-call rotation (1 in 5 weeks) with global support coverage Candidate Profile: 4-5+ years of hands-on desktop support experience Strong communication and customer service skills; technical aptitude is important, but people skills are essential Experience in financial services or professional services environments preferred Familiarity with Microsoft technologies; scripting and cloud certifications are a plus Comfortable working an 8am-4pm shift, three days per week on-site in downtown Boston Why Apply: Small, collaborative team with direct access to leadership Culture of flexibility, training, and internal growth Competitive compensation: $125K base + 20% annual bonus target Strong benefits and a supportive, people-first culture Interviews begin shortly.
