Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a supportive educational environment as a contract Occupational Therapist, working with students in a school setting near Providence, RI, for a short-term summer assignment. This role is designed for a dedicated OT who wants to make a positive impact during the extended school year. Qualifications:

• Active Rhode Island Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
• Previous experience in a school-based OT setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with addressing students’ sensory, motor, and adaptive needs
• Ability to communicate effectively with educators, students, and families
• Strong organizational skills and reliability

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to a small group of students during the school’s summer program
• Provide direct therapy and consultation during school hours of 8:30–11:30 AM
• Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to implement IEP goals
• Participate in meetings and contribute to student progress reports
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of student services
• Customize interventions based on students’ needs while fostering an inclusive learning environment

Schedule & Assignment Details:

• Assignment dates: July 6, 2026 – August 7, 2026
• Work 6–10 hours per week, 3 hours per day, two days per week
• Option to select either Monday/Tuesday or Tuesday/Wednesday shifts
• Manage a focused caseload, allowing for individualized attention
