Overview Tucked in the middle of suburban Wilmington sits Bellevue State Park, a former DuPont estate. William DuPont Jr. transformed this land to include horse stables, indoor horse training facilities, and a 1 ⅛ mile long horse track. Today the track is used by guests and encircles meadows, rentable pavilions, and a quaint pond perfect for fishing. Bellevue Hall stands as the park’s centerpiece, surrounded by additional historic structures. The park offers guests the chance to enjoy disc golf, meander the northern greenway trail, and spend quiet time with family and pets. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service and park information to visitors. Demonstrate responsibility, dependability, and good communication skills. Set‑up, monitor, and support clean‑up for park programs and special events. Maintain a positive attitude. Work independently. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Six months' experience interpreting rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Six months’ experience in office operations and functions. Six months’ experience in cash handling or writing receipts. Six months’ experience using Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, and Publisher. Possession of a valid driver’s license (not suspended, revoked, or cancelled, or disqualified from driving). Position Details This is a Casual/Seasonal position that is non‑pension eligible and does not include health care or other benefits. The posting may be closed upon filling the vacant position(s).
