This role offers a valuable opportunity to build a strong foundation in accounting and finance while gaining hands-on experience within a global luxury organization. You'll work closely with the Accounts Receivable Manager to support day-to-day accounting operations, contribute to process improvements, and develop the skills needed for a successful career in finance. **HOW YOU BRING IT TO LIFE** Here’s how you’ll bring this role to life each day - making it your own and shaping it with your unique talents and expertise: * Assist with the preparation, review, and distribution of customer invoices. * Process and accurately apply incoming payments to customer accounts. * Support the monitoring of accounts receivable aging reports and assist with collections activities. * Research and resolve payment discrepancies, deductions, and account issues. * Perform customer account reconciliations and maintain accurate account records. * Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts receivable. * Maintain organized financial documentation and records in accordance with company policies. * Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances. * Prepare reports and spreadsheets to support the Accounting and Finance teams. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing and payment-related matters. * Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned. * Continuously develop accounting knowledge through training, mentorship, and hands-on learning opportunities. **WHO YOU ARE** This is how you show up: * You bring at least 6 months of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Excellent organizational, time-management, and analytical skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite; SAP experience is a plus. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Eagerness to learn and grow within a professional accounting setting. * Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team. * Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and a proactive mindset. **YOUR ZEGNA OFFER** * Full-time, 12-month position, based in our New York City office. * The pay for this position is $25/hour. * Hybrid work model (4 days in office required, Friday work from home), designed to balance flexibility and in-person collaboration. * Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer match, and commuter benefits. * Paid time off and holidays, with accrual based on tenure and role. * Learning opportunities, including mentorship, structured programs, and personalized development paths. * Opportunity to contribute to a growing, global brand at the forefront of luxury and innovation. **NATURALLY IN ZEGNA** Joining us means stepping into a world of excellence, where the uniqueness of our authenticity is rooted in the talents of our people, who together contribute to weaving a story of innovation and craftsmanship.
