Industrial Painter

Key Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying primers as required. Mix and apply industrial coatings, paints, and finishes using spray equipment, brushes, or rollers according to specifications. Operate, monitor, and maintain painting and coating equipment to ensure consistent, high-quality finishes. Inspect finished products for defects, thickness, coverage, and overall quality, making corrections as needed. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. Load, unload, and move materials or finished products while ensuring proper handling and storage. Accurately document paint usage, batch numbers, and job details for quality and inventory tracking. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality expectations. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of paint booths, tools, and equipment. Promptly report equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience as an industrial or manufacturing painter is preferred. Familiarity with industrial coatings, surface preparation methods, and spray equipment is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a production environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to follow written instructions, technical specifications, and safety guidelines. Excellent teamwork, communication, and time-management skills. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings or weekends, as required. What We Offer Competitive hourly wage.
