This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll lead banquet events while also jumping into restaurant operations during slower weeks. If you enjoy a mix of planning, leadership, and being right in the action, this is the perfect role for you. Whether you’re an experienced event leader or someone with strong service experience ready to take the next step, we’re excited to help you grow! Applicants must be 18 years or older to apply. This role averages 30-40 hours per week. During busy banquet periods, you’ll focus on planning and executing events. When events slow down, you’ll transition into a restaurant role (serving and/or bartending), staying active and involved with the team. Responsibilities & Duties: Plan and manage banquet events from start to finish Lead banquet staff and keep events running smoothly Be the main point of contact during events Oversee setup, service flow, and breakdown Communicate with kitchen and service teams to ensure great execution Assist with scheduling and team coordination Jump into serving and/or bartending during slower weeks Provide excellent guest service in both banquet and restaurant settings Qualifications: Previous banquet, event, or leadership experience preferred Serving and/or bartending experience is a plus Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills Ability to stay calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment Tech-savvy with basic knowledge of event systems and scheduling tools A team-first attitude and willingness to jump in where needed Metropolis Resort is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
