Experienced Concrete Finisher

Schedule 45-50 hours per week, Mon-Fri, occasional Saturdays Work Location Multiple locations - Southwest OH & Northern Kentucky Requirements Perform manual physical duties such as shoveling dirt, sand, and gravel, loading and unloading supplies, clearing job sites for equipment operators. Fueling and Lubricating Company Equipment daily. Daily Site Clean-up. Leveling, smoothing, and shaping freshly poured concrete using tools such as trowels, floats, and screeds. Checking concrete forms. Mixing concrete to the correct specifications. Setting and aligning the forms. Spreading, leveling, and smoothing concrete using specialist equipment. Molding expansion joints and edges. Monitoring the effects of weather on concrete. Facilitating concrete pouring. Serving as a team member and performing other skilled trade activities for selected projects to meet project budgets as needed. Safety Promote, execute, and adhere to the company’s safety program. Attend daily safety meetings and inspections. Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others. Working Conditions Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity. Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 lbs. regularly. Use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is required. Use of sunscreen, long sleeves, and appropriate headgear is recommended. Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements.
