Maintenance TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, repair, and maintain all production and auxiliary equipment.Perform routine and scheduled preventative maintenance on all production machinery to ensure optimal performance.Quickly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on equipment and building systems to minimize downtime.Analyze and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems to perform repairs.Dismantle machines and equipment for inspection, testing, and preventative maintenance.Follow all safety procedures and ensure equipment conforms to safety regulations.Communicate daily issues and information to supervisors and other employees as needed.Essential SkillsIndustrial Electrical Experience with PLC troubleshooting, VFDs, Drivers, and panel signal experience.Manufacturing Experience.Strong Electrical & Mechanical troubleshooting skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working in a Lean Manufacturing Environment.Previous Tube Manufacturing experience.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.Capable of writing simple correspondence.Effective in presenting information in one-on-one and small group settings.Mathematical skills including calculating discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.Application of basic algebra and geometry concepts.Problem solving and individual/group facilitation skills.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.Capability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Why Work Here?This is a contractor-to-hire opportunity with potential for growth. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
