Students can benefit from the self-assessment tool, which allows them to explore majors that match their interests and support their career goals. Campus Employment On-campus employment is a great way to build your resume, gain experience and connect with the campus community. To work on campus, students must meet the following requirements: High school graduate or equivalent At least six credits registered in fall/spring or three credits in summer Good academic standing Pass BCI background check (completed at NSCC) Admissions Office help, mailing and filing Bookstore Stocking, organizing, and book/supply management & tracking Welcome desk coverage and communication assistance Custom Training Solutions Office help and research Facilities Cleaning, event set up and event tear down Food Service Food prep, customer service, catering and cleaning NSCC Foundation Office help (Excel & Word experience preferred) Grants Office Research, document best practices and data entry IT General IT help (training provided) Library Assist staff and students with library services (quiet environment) Nursing Office Office help and filing (not available for nursing students) Nursing Lab Assist with tests and office help (not available for nursing students) Registrar Detailed-oriented office help Success Center Testing and tutoring assistance and managing files (strong communication skills required) For specific content areas (additional academic qualifications required) Numerous departments around campus typically have open positions.
