RN needed for 32 bed Cardiac and Vascular surgery unit with 1:2-4 N/P ratios. Levels of care vary from High Acuity IMC (requires ICU experience, 1:2 ratio managing low-dose pressors, mechanical ventilation via trach, unstable rhythms requiring TVP or epicardial pacing, continuous cardiac monitoring), IMC (dose-ordered vasoactives, continuous cardiac monitoring), and Telemetry (intermittent cardiac monitoring) to Mixed level of care assignments with IMC and Telemetry patients with typically 1:3 during the day and 1:4 at nightLevel 1 Adult & Pediatric Trauma center, Teaching Hospital, Magnet facility. Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse, ICU, CCU (Coronary Care Unit) Experience: 2 years SSN Required DOB Required References: 1 Reference in the last 12 months Experience caring for patients 1+ days out from CABG, Valve Repairs/Replacements, and Aortic Aneurysm Repairs, all via sternotomy 2 yrs cardiovascular surgical stepdown experience

Preferred Qualifications

EPIC Mechanical Circulatory Support devices like LVADs, as well as patients recovering from heart and lung transplants.
