Admissions Transporter

Forward Health is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and professional Admissions Transporter to join our growing team. This role is a vital part of the client experience and recovery journey, helping ensure individuals safely arrive to treatment, appointments, and other approved destinations while feeling supported and respected throughout the process. Requirements Responsibilities Safely transport clients to and from treatment-related appointments and approved destinations Assist with client admissions, discharges, and transportation coordination Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and respectful communication with clients and staff Ensure client safety during transport at all times Complete transportation logs, mileage reports, and incident documentation accurately Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or safety concerns promptly Follow all traffic laws, defensive driving practices, and agency transportation procedures Communicate effectively with admissions, clinical, and administrative staff regarding scheduling or client concerns Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients Participate in trainings, meetings, and required certifications Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license with a clean/acceptable driving record Ability to pass background check and drug screening Preferred Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, transportation, or human services Knowledge of substance use disorder treatment and recovery CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain Skills & Qualities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude Work Environment This position includes both office and community-based work with frequent local travel. Candidates should be comfortable working with individuals navigating behavioral health and substance use challenges while maintaining professionalism, empathy, and safety awareness.
