Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

Registered Nurse – Post Anesthesia Care Unit

Schedule: 4 - 10's or 5 - 8's

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Strong experience in PACU and pre/post-operative care

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, including pre-operative and post-operative assessments.
• Float to various areas of the Outpatient Services as needed, including Day Surgery and Endoscopy Lab.
• Educate patients on peri-operative care and management of post-anesthesia complications.
• Monitor patients for any post-operative complications and intervene as necessary.
• Administer conscious sedation for special procedures as required.
