Senior Antenna and Microwave Engineer

U.S. citizenship is required and the candidate must be able to obtain an interim clearance prior to start date. This Senior Antenna and Microwave Engineer role focuses on RF/Microwave system theory and design, including architectures, subsystems, components, and Active Electronically Steered Antennas (AESAs). The candidate will employ knowledge of circuit card assemblies and electromagnetic theory. Responsibilities Design RF microwave components and phased array applications. Integrate and test component‑level and system‑level phased array hardware. Provide technical support to production activities. Lead design teams, manage cost and schedule, write proposals, and present to stakeholders. Occasional travel to integration sites, customer and subcontractor facilities. Qualifications – Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and at least five years of relevant experience in microwave/RF system, subsystem, or component analysis, design, and test. Hands‑on experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, Mentor Graphics Xpedition, and analytical tools like Matlab. Preferred Qualifications Background designing and testing analog CCAs (frequency conversion, automatic gain control, amplifier design, analog filter design). Understanding of requirement allocation from system to component level. Knowledge of cost estimation, budget, and schedule management. Strong academic background in Microwave Engineering, Microwave Systems, Electromagnetic Theory, and Radar Systems. Experience with microwave testing techniques using spectrum analyzers, RSAs, VNAs, and PNAs. Benefits & Compensation Salary range: 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD.
