Equity and Human Resources Director

The Equity and Human Resources Director provides strategic leadership and organizational oversight for human resources, equity, diversity and inclusion, and workplace culture. This position is responsible for developing and implementing equitable HR policies, ensuring compliance with employment law, overseeing employee relations and organizational culture, and embedding equity principles into hiring, compensation, leadership development, and organizational decision‑making. The Director serves as a key advisor to executive leadership on workforce strategy, organizational change, and equity‑centered practices to ensure a respectful, inclusive and high‑performing workplace. Hours and Travel Hybrid schedules are available as appropriate for job duties and subject to supervisor approval. This position is based in our Tualatin office with some ability to work remotely. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a union environment is strongly preferred. Human Resources certification preferred. Compensation and Benefits This is a full‑time exempt position. ONA offers an annual starting salary of $130,000 - $170,000 depending on experience. ONA also offers an exceptional benefits package including total employer contributions covering 100% of medical, dental and vision premiums, as well as employer paid long and short‑term disability and life insurance. Opportunity to enroll in 401(k) plan after 6 months of employment which includes a 3% employer contribution, 4% match, with additional longevity contributions after 5 years.
