Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room provides urgent and critical patient care in a fast-paced environment. They assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and continuously monitor vital signs.
• Prioritize emergency cases and initiate appropriate interventions promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and adjust care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and protocols.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
• Educate patients and families on condition management and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Require current and valid RN license in the relevant state or region.
• Demonstrate recent experience working in an Emergency Room or acute care setting.
• Possess CPR and BLS certifications; ACLS preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations with excellent detail orientation.
