Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist serving a school-based population in the Marlborough, MA area. This contract opportunity allows you to leverage your clinical expertise while maintaining a flexible schedule, averaging 1.5 to 5 hours each week. Your role will include a blend of direct therapy services and consultation for student referrals, giving you the opportunity to shape communication outcomes and support academic success.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Massachusetts
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Previous experience with pediatric populations, ideally in educational or healthcare settings
- Ability to provide both direct therapy and consultative services
- Commitment to collaborative work with school staff, families, and students
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability for a dynamic school environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy to students, both individually and in small groups
- Participate in consultations, assessments, and meetings to support student referrals
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized goals and treatment plans
- Document progress, collaborate on IEPs, and offer actionable recommendations to school teams
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals regarding student needs and progress
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district guidelines
