Performance Coach

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Performance Coach in a corporate wellness center setting. We are dedicated to helping clients achieve health and wellness goals through customized fitness programs, group classes, and one‑on‑one training. Responsibilities Monitor exercise participants, ensuring safety and adherence to workout plans. Lead and instruct diverse group exercise classes for varying fitness levels. Conduct fitness assessments and prescribe personalized exercise plans. Design effective workout programs, including for high‑risk populations. Offer one‑on‑one consultations, personalized training, and motivation to support client success. Assist with incentive, health promotion, and specialty programs to increase engagement. Manage administrative tasks related to fitness facility operations. Perform additional duties as assigned to support day‑to‑day operations. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field. Current certification from a nationally accredited industry association (NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE preferred). Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification required. Minimum 6 months of industry experience, including internships. Proven experience leading and teaching group exercise classes. Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer‑service skills with an outgoing personality. Talent for building lasting client relationships. Compensation Pay ranges from $15.50 to $30 per hour, depending on site location, specialty, certifications and work experience.
