Residential Outside Sales Representative

Job Summary Territory Sales Representative – Cox Communications, Inc. This residential sales role requires door‑to‑door canvassing and is based in Tucson, AZ. Working evenings and weekends is expected. Base salary ranges from $27,500 to $41,300 with an annual incentive/commission target of $32,496. Eligible external candidates receive a $2,000 sign‑on bonus, paid in two installments (90 days and 180 days). Internal candidates receive a $1,000 bonus. Responsibilities Generate leads and prospects through referrals, partner relationships, and door‑to‑door canvassing. Develop and deliver face‑to‑face sales presentations, assess customer needs, and close sales for Cox data, video, and mobile services. Build and maintain relationships with homeowner associations, multi‑dwelling unit managers, leasing agents, and other local contacts. Assist in training new hires and collaborate with cross‑functional teams and leadership to identify growth opportunities. Maintain ethical standards, follow company policy, and represent Cox professionally. Work required shifts that include evenings and weekends to maximize customer contact. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or up to 2 years of relevant work experience. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Ability to obtain required certifications/licenses for home‑security sales as mandated by state and municipal laws. Proficient with Smartphone, iPad, and computer; able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Must walk at least 1½ miles a day and carry an iPad with case and a light marketing bag for 5+ hours. Preferred: 1+ year of outside/field sales or door‑to‑door experience with quota; experience in residential direct sales, home‑security or telecommunications. Compensation & Benefits Base salary of $27,500–$41,300, with potential total annual compensation exceeding $94,387 for high performers. Annual incentive/commission target of $32,496 and a two‑month ramp‑up period with full commission. Additional incentives include a Winner’s Circle reward.
