Dental Associates of North Alabama Decatur & Children's Location: Decatur, AL Position Type: Full-Time Dental Associates of North Alabama Decatur & Children's is excited to announce that we are hiring for an energetic, fun filled Dental Assistant for our Decatur office. This full-time position is perfect for a strong, confident and well skilled team player that will operate with the values of our patients. This position requires 2 years of chairside experience. Job Duties May Include: Greets patients in waiting area and escorts patients to the operatory Assists the dentist in the administration of treatment at the chair side as required or directed by the dentist Maintain a sterile and neat working environment according to current infection control procedures Review the health history, make chart entries under the direction of the dentist and assure completion of forms and signatures Assume the responsibility associated with any duties that may be delegated by the dentist Familiarize the patient with the aspects of their dental visit and provide support and compassion to that patient when it is needed Stock operatories and maintain clinical supply inventory Review daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments Supervise preventive maintenance of dental equipment Take digital radiographs Follow practice protocols: quality assurance, biohazards, infection control, referral, emergency medicine, implants, perio program and emergency treatment Schedule: Monday & Tuesday:700 AM - 4:00 PM (with 1 hour lunch) Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (with no official lunch possible If you're an experienced Dental Assistant looking to join a fun, patient-centered team, we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr Dental Associates of Northern Alabama
