Position Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound assessments, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures by clearly explaining each phase with care
• Work alongside radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Utilize and maintain imaging tools, promptly reporting any equipment malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient records within the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging technology and established best practices

Education and Certification Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Valid certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
