Join our team and help keep your community safe! We're looking for experienced, lead level Alarm Technician with strong programming experience to help protect the homes and businesses in your community.
You Are:
A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.
You Have:
Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.
Your Location:
In-Person (Not Remote or Hybrid)

Your Schedule:
Full Time (40hrs/Wk) – We do not short your hours!!!
Mon-Fri from 8am-5pm
Your Manager:
Kevin, Service Operations Manager
Your Contribution to Definitive Electronics:
Read & Interpret Blueprints
Lead Security projects from start to finish
Install, program, and test wired and wireless devices
Activate new systems for monitoring
Perform system takeovers
Documentation: Read it, execute, update as needed
Troubleshooting
Complete post-installation checklists
Collaborate with other teams/stakeholders as needed
Monitor and respond promptly to managed services/central station notifications
Your Ideal Background/Experience:
5+ years in the alarm/security industry
Programming experience with Elk, Honeywell, and DSC systems (a plus!)
Valid driver's license (required)
Definitive Electronics' Contribution to You:
$30/hr to $40/hr – Yup!
