Job Description
The Retail Assistant Manager plays a vital role in overseeing daily store operations and supporting strategic planning efforts. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this position focuses on managing a medium team of 6 to 15 employees, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales performance. The role includes responsibilities for staff development, inventory control, and loss prevention while utilizing standard retail software tools.

Responsibilities
Supervise and support a medium team of 6-15 employees
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet targets
Manage inventory control and coordinate stock replenishment
Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues efficiently
Conduct staff training and development programs
Oversee visual merchandising to optimize store presentation
Handle cash transactions and ensure accuracy
Implement loss prevention measures to safeguard assets
Utilize POS and inventory software for daily operations
Participate in occasional travel for training purposes

Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in retail management
Strong customer service and team leadership skills
Experience with inventory management
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
Strong time management skills
