Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards for fine dining or casual settings
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, basic math calculations, and processing payments efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service areas, and food handling stations in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations

Experience

• Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with OpenTable reservations system or similar booking platforms is a plus
• Ability to multitask effectively with excellent time management in a fast-paced setting
• Previous host/hostess or bussing experience can be beneficial but is not required; enthusiasm for serving is key
