Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension) Contract Type: W2 Only Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid Role) Par Rate: $60-64/hr on W2 basis Job Summary Looking for an innovative and creative Learning & Development (L&D) Instructional Designer passionate about crafting exceptional learning experiences in a dynamic environment. This role involves designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive learning solutions to support user onboarding, professional development, and performance improvement across diverse domains. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting, possess solid project management skills, and have a talent for balancing technical depth with strong interpersonal communication. Key Responsibilities Lead projects through the entire design lifecycle, from scoping and analysis to development and launch, ensuring clear communication and successful implementation. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify learning needs and objectives, and develop engaging, high-quality instructional content. Facilitate requirements gathering, scope projects effectively, and evaluate existing materials to determine the best instructional approach. Independently develop a range of instructional materials, including tutorials, digital interactives, and multimedia content. Manage project timelines efficiently and prioritize multiple concurrent projects, always prioritizing learner needs. Must-Have Skills Proficiency in adult learning theory and performance-based instructional design strategies. Advanced competency with multimedia development tools (e.g., Articulate, Camtasia, Adobe Suite). Strong project management capabilities, able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines. Industry Experience Experience in developing learning solutions for technology or finance sectors is preferred but not essential.
