Ohio Department of Public Safety Bureau of Motor Vehicles/Driver Exam Services/District 3 North Canton Report in Location: 3195 Whitewood Street Northwest, Canton, OH 44720 Work Hours: Tuesday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. & Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Perks of Working for the Ohio Department of Public Safety Multiple pay increases over the first years of service! What you'll Do as a a Driver License Station Supervisor Directly supervises lower ranking examiners &/or supports personnel at a district level; Schedules, trains & evaluates employees assigned to the district; Oversees the daily operations of the facilities; Conducts written, oral & over the road license testing; Investigates complaints & documents facts relating to said complaints & issues discipline; Interacts with the public on a daily basis as the representative of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

Qualifications

Option 1 36 mos. trg. or 36 mos. exp. in laws & signs applicable for operation of motorized vehicles, to include commercial vehicles & Bureau of Motor Vehicles' policies & procedures governing testing for & issuance of driver licenses & commercial vehicle licenses; AND 1 yr. exp. in supervisory principles & techniques or providing work direction & training to other employees; valid Ohio Class 'D' Driver License. Option 2 -Or 12 mos. exp. as Driver License Examiner 2 (Lead Worker), 24333; AND valid Ohio Class 'D' Driver License. Option 3 -Or 12 mos. exp. as CDL Field Representative 24332; AND 12 mos. exp. in providing work direction & training to other employees; valid Ohio Class 'D' Driver License. Option 4 -Or 12 mos. exp. as Driver Examination Field Representative 24334; AND 12 mos. exp. in providing work direction & training to other employees; AND valid Ohio Class 'D' Driver License. -Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above. Job Skill: Customer Service Supplemental Information TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT REQUIRED TO REMAIN IN THE CLASSIFICATION AFTER EMPLOYMENT Renewal of driver license as required by law. Successful completion of agency driving training course required before end of probationary period.
