Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Spend time with customers to understand workflows and translate findings into product bets.
• Partner with product and design to determine what to build, formulate hypotheses, and design experiments.
• Take new product surfaces from pitch and prototype through production launch and customer adoption.
• Build AI-native products using LLMs, agents, evaluations, retrieval, and modern AI tooling.
• Own end-to-end outcomes, including architecture, instrumentation, telemetry, and post-launch learning.
• Set technical standards through design and code reviews and promote simple, high-quality engineering.
• Mentor engineers in customer-centric and hypothesis-driven product development.
• Drive practical technical decisions that prioritize shipping and iterative improvement.

Requirements

• Experience deploying production code and services to cloud-hosted environments.
• Demonstrated experience delivering incremental releases from proof of concept through MVP to production.
• Demonstrated experience working on large, complex problems.
• Strong commitment to engineering excellence, clean code, and knowledge-sharing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience leading other engineers on complex projects.
