Responsibilities

- Design, code, and test robust Android applications using Java and Kotlin to meet evolving functional requirements
- Modify and enhance existing software to boost efficiency and performance
- Prepare, update, and manage technical and user documentation for seamless development and user adoption
- Implement and maintain unit tests; proactively resolve bugs for optimal app reliability
- Prepare test data and thoroughly validate software accuracy prior to release
- Stay current with programming standards and best practices in mobile development
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and Android SDK
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Object Oriented Analysis and Design
- Hands-on experience with REST, Graph-QL, and JSON
- Skilled in writing unit tests and bug fixing
- Familiarity with architecture patterns such as MVC and MVP
- Proficient in Android Studio and standard development tools

Preferred Skills

- One year of experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying production-grade Android applications
- Familiarity with Android frameworks
- Experience with multiple package managers such as Cocoa Pods, Carthage, and Swift Package Manager
- Detail-oriented mindset and a passion for delivering user-focused products
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
