Maintenance Engineer

Sonesta International Hotels

Description

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the overall upkeep, safety, and mechanical integrity of the hotel, overseeing all maintenance activity across guestrooms, public areas, grounds, equipment, and support spaces. This is a hands-on leadership role that also carries the formal designation of hotel safety officer, requiring someone equally comfortable turning a wrench and managing a team.

The Maintenance Supervisor works closely with the General Manager, housekeeping, and front desk to ensure the property meets Sonesta brand standards, guest expectations, and all applicable safety and regulatory requirements - with no deferred maintenance and no surprises.

At a select-service property, the Maintenance Supervisor has real visibility and real impact - this isn't a large, anonymous engineering department. You will own the condition of the building, work directly with hotel leadership, and see the results of your work every day in the guest experience and the property's performance. We combine the standards and support of a recognized national brand with the responsiveness and teamwork of an independently operated hotel.

If you take pride in a well-run building and want a role where your expertise is valued and your contributions are noticed, we'd like to hear from you.
