Summary Energy Transfer is looking for an Analyst-Accounts Payable to join our Shared Accounting team in Dallas. The accounts payable analyst maintains reporting, analysis and data integrity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assists accounts payable leadership with system projects Maintains accounts payable metrics reporting Manages accounts payable third-party trade, GRIR and reconciliation accounts Assists with 1099 reporting and inquiries Perform all Alteryx reporting accurately and timely daily Obtains, reviews and submits Winshuttle spreadsheets Perform invoice review sampling for PO and NPO processing to assist AP supervisors with the quality reviews, and remediation for invoice errors. Review the Xelix Invoice Error and Duplicate log in detail, identifying the specific type of error Validate that the correct action is assigned for each error and provide a report to Leadership to ensure timely resolution. Maintains files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices. Assists in month end closing Assists with audit inquiries and responses where appropriate Handles all phone calls and correspondences related to invoices and disbursements Perform other duties as assigned Key Attributes Consistently fulfills commitments, maintains transparency, and meets deadlines effectively Works well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, responding to change with professionalism and a positive solution-oriented attitude Significant level of personal accountability and ownership to identify and addresses issues with minimal oversight, and suggests innovative solutions for process improvement Embraces and adapts to changes with enthusiasm, contributing to a culture of innovation and efficiency Takes initiative to learn various systems and processes Exhibits a strong sense of ownership and resolves issues, including coordinating with other teams/functions as needed and communicates effectively Cultivates and maintains productive relationships with internal counterparts to enhance process improvements that are in the best interest of the company Navigates stressful situations professionally, aiming for optimal outcomes Accepts feedback professionally and translates it into positive changes in behavior and performance Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Bachelor's Degree (Accounting or Finance preferred) or equivalent experience Experience: 2-5 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required Skills: o SAP knowledge required o Must be organized, dependable and a team player o Attention to detail, ability to prioritize work/projects and have a high sense of urgency are required o Strong written and verbal communication skills o Availability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines o Flexible to work overtime during peak periods o Must adhere to the highest standards of ethical behavior Technical Skills: o Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and be comfortable with computers in general Preferred Qualifications: o Bachelor's Degree (Accounting or Finance preferred) or equivalent experience o OpenText experience or similar workflow system Working Conditions Usually, normal office working conditions Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing Occasional overnight travel may be required #J-18808-Ljbffr Energy Transfer LP
