Cardiovascular Technologist PRN

Position: Cardiovascular Tech – PRN. Shift: As needed. Responsibilities Delivery of professional care to all patients presenting to the Cardiac Cath Lab. Assist the Cardiovascular specialist in preparing the Cath lab for all procedures and act as scrub tech. Perform sterile technique, basic EKG interpretation, assist with transporting patients to and from the Cath lab, and document procedures on Mac Lab. Coordinate care with the Cardiac Cath Lab Management, departmental staff, physicians, and ancillary services. Access secure drug and biological storage areas after completing medication management orientation. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date. Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN), Paramedic, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), Radiography ARRT-R, or equivalent work experience. Work experience in lieu of degree or vocational school graduate acceptable.
