About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: RRT Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of general RT experience License: RRT Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP preferred but can be obtained after hire Must-Have: NICU experience is required Description: MUST HAVE AT LEAST A 3 IN NICU SKILLS. Patient care involves working with adults and NICU patients. Experience with CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, and Hamilton C1 for ventilation is required. Unit has a total of 140 beds. The documentation system used is Meditech. The staffing includes unit secretaries and tech availability. Scheduling requirements are for 3-12 hour shifts per week, including every other weekend. Advanced skills needed for the position include performing specific procedures within the unit. The dress code requires all black scrubs. Unit specific policies and guidelines will be provided. This unit offers opportunities with new equipment and technology, as well as a team with considerable tenure and experience. Candidates are encouraged to consider the scheduling options available.
