Position Summary:
The Small Business Specialist is responsible for developing and growing relationships with small business owners by identifying their insurance needs, providing appropriate coverage solutions, and building long-term client relationships. This position combines new business development, sales, and ongoing account management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospect and develop new small business opportunities.
• Build relationships with local business owners and referral partners.
• Conduct business insurance needs assessments and identify coverage opportunities.
• Generate quotes, present solutions, and close new business.
• Cross-sell additional products and services when appropriate.
• Follow up consistently with prospects, leads, and existing business clients.
• Conduct account reviews to support retention and identify additional needs.
• Maintain an organized sales pipeline and accurate client documentation.
• Participate in networking and business development activities.
• Meet established activity, production, retention, and sales goals.

Qualifications:

• Strong sales, prospecting, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
• Comfortable developing new relationships and generating business.
• Insurance or B2B sales experience preferred.
• Required insurance licensing must be obtained and maintained.

Compensation:
$55K–$65K base salary + commissions/bonus
$75K–$125K total earning potential based on individual performance and applicable compensation plans.
