Clinical Education Program Administrator

Organization Overview Our laboratory is devoted primarily to investigating platelet physiology, thrombosis, vascular biology, and adhesion phenomena in sickle cell disease. We study the basic molecular interactions between blood cells and the blood vessel. Our studies span from basic molecular structure to complex phenomena such as thrombosis in intact animals. Our goal is to use the knowledge of the molecular interactions to develop new therapies for thrombosis and sickle cell disease. Overview The purpose of this job is to provide the administrative support for the 3 Year Clinical Scholars Master's degree program for physician scientists, including recruitment, admissions, and the educational program itself (curriculum, seminars, ongoing Scholar progress, and evaluations). Responsibilities This position will be responsible for the following but not limited to: Outreach to potential applicants and organization of applications for admissions committee Administration of associated seminars and lunches Administration and support of ongoing evaluation of Scholar progress Administration and oversight of alumni relations Administration of Communications (eNewsletter, program announcement) Administration of educational programs and related activities (budget, orientation, pilot project program, and graduation) Managing the budget for program activities (pilot project program, Scholar supplies budget, seminars, lunches, graduation) Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required 5+ years of experience in academic educational program administration, research administration, or related field Experience managing program budgets Strong writing, editing, and content development skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously Experience with newsletter development and formatting software, web content management systems, and survey/data tracking tools preferred, including InDesign and Canva Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree Experience with Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) educational programs Clinical and/or basic science research experience Experience with science communication The Rockefeller University is an equal opportunity employer – veterans/individuals with disabilities. The hiring range provided represents The Rockefeller University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
