Mechanical Engineer
Value Wholesaler, Inc.
The Mechanical Engineer works to improve manufacturing processes for Value Windows & Doors products through collaboration with cross-functional teams and ERP system representatives. Responsible for product development, engineering analysis, process improvement, technical documentation, and implementation of manufacturing enhancements. Supports new equipment evaluation, installation, and training activities. Location This position is fully onsite and requires regular work at both our Duarte and Moreno Valley, CA facilities. Develop standard manufacturing processes for new and existing products. Create and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) within the ERP system. Prepare application, shop, cut sheet, and installation drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and DraftSight. Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes and efficiency. Support ERP inventory management setup. Conduct internal AAMA testing. Collaborate on new product development. Support service issue investigations and jobsite inspections. Provide manufacturing technical support. Required Qualifications Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering. Minimum 4 years of manufacturing or production experience. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects. Working knowledge of ERP systems. Preferred Qualifications Experience with metal fabrication equipment. Working knowledge of Pro/E. Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Chinese preferred. Supervisory Responsibilities Supervise manufacturing engineering team members. Provide tools, training, and resources to internal and external customers. Maintain documentation and internal control compliance.
