A new full-time contract opportunity is available for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work one-on-one with a student for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. Providing essential care throughout the school day, you’ll become an important member of the student’s support team, ensuring their wellbeing and helping them access a positive educational experience. This onsite-only position runs from September 9, 2026 to June 16, 2027, with a daily schedule of 6.5 hours.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active Washington State LPN license, or a willingness to obtain one prior to the start date
• Fingerprinting through OSPI (or willingness to complete this process)
• Previous pediatric, school nursing, or 1:1 care experience is highly valued
• Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working closely with students with unique health needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with staff, families, and healthcare providers
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care for an assigned student during the school day
• Monitor and manage medical conditions as outlined by the care plan
• Administer medications and treatments as needed
• Maintain open communication with parents, school staff, and healthcare professionals
• Participate as an active member of the student’s educational team
• Ensure a safe, supportive environment for student learning
