Credit Analyst Basic (1-3 years)

Job Description:The Wealth Management Credit Platform Service Support Team is part of Private Banking (PB) Credit Platform Services. The Letter of Credit Center of Excellence (CoE) supports the documentation and issuance of Letters of Credit for Private Bank clients, ensuring adherence to operational and risk controls. The team partners with clients, front office, credit risk, and Global Trade teams to facilitate the timely and accurate issuance of Letters of Credit while delivering a seamless client experience.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess the complete lifecycle of Standby Letters of Credit, including issuance, amendments, extensions, transfers, cancellations, drawings and billing.Review customer documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies and international trade regulations.Validate Letter of Credit applications, supporting documentation, collateral arrangements, and approval conditions before execution. Coordinate with Relationship Managers, Product Advisory, Credit Officers, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Trade Finance teams to facilitate timely processing of Letter of Credit transactions.Ensure all transactions comply with applicable regulatory requirements, internal risk frameworks, bank policies, UCP 600, ISP98, OFAC, KYC, and internal controls.Support credit facility setup, maintenance, and monitoring; coordinate collateral reviews and approvals prior to issuance; and partner with underwriting and credit teams to ensure facilities are properly established, approved, and linked within internal credit and trade processing systems.Monitor transaction queues and service level agreements to ensure timely execution while maintaining high standards of quality and operational excellenceInvestigate and resolve operational exceptions, documentation discrepancies, and client inquiries through effective collaboration with internal stakeholders.Maintain accurate transaction records across banking platforms and ensure complete audit trails for all Letter of Credit activities.Support periodic portfolio reviews by monitoring upcoming expiries, renewals, collateral sufficiency, and outstanding documentation requirements.Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to automation, standardization, and operational efficiency initiatives.Participate in internal audits, regulatory examinations, and control testing activities while ensuring adherence to operational risk and compliance standards.Produce operational reports and management information relating to transaction volumes, service metrics, outstanding exceptions, and operational risks.Escalate operational risks, control gaps, and complex transactions to senior management in accordance with established governance procedures.Dexian stands at the forefront of Talent + Technology solutions with a presence spanning more than 70 locations worldwide and a team exceeding 10,000 professionals.
