Data Entry Clerk

Job Summary AM Electric Enterprises is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Remote Data Entry Clerk to support our administrative and operational teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, organizing, and maintaining company information and records across internal systems. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, comfortable working independently, and able to maintain a high level of accuracy while handling repetitive tasks and confidential information. Key Responsibilities Enter and update data accurately into company databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems. Review records for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Maintain and organize digital files, documents, and electronic records. Verify information and correct data entry errors promptly. Process invoices, forms, reports, and other administrative documents as assigned. Assist with maintaining customer, vendor, employee, and operational records. Perform routine data verification and quality-control checks. Retrieve and compile information for reports and internal requests. Follow company procedures for handling confidential and sensitive information. Communicate with team members regarding missing, incorrect, or incomplete information. Meet established productivity, accuracy, and deadline requirements. Perform other administrative and data-related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous data entry, administrative, clerical, or office experience is preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good typing and computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Ability to work with spreadsheets and electronic databases. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a remote environment. Reliable internet connection and a suitable home-office workspace.
