Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience working in a school environment is highly valued
• Knowledge of best practices for assessing and addressing sensory, fine motor, and adaptive skill needs
• Strong ability to communicate and engage collaboratively with other therapists, teachers, families, and school staff
• Skilled in working with IEPs, progress monitoring, and documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ physical, emotional, and developmental needs within the educational context
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to help students achieve academic and functional goals
• Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams to develop and review IEPs
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services tailored to each student’s unique requirements
• Educate school staff and families on adaptations and activities to promote student participation and success
• Maintain accurate records of treatment, progress, and outcomes in compliance with district and federal requirements
