Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, conduct routine patrols, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post. In this role, you will help support a secure environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach while contributing to important security-related operations. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.60 / Hour Job Schedule Sat: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, visitor check‑in activities, credential verification, and other security‑related policies for a manufacturing and industrial location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization for employees, contractors, and visitors, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting security‑related concerns according to site procedures. Document daily activities, access‑related events, and incident details in required logs and reports, supporting orderly site operations and post communication. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and a rustic guard shack. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
