JLL has a great opportunity to join our growing Industrial Property Management team in San Diego.Our office is located near La Jolla (UTC area) and will be supporting an Institutional portfolio.The Property Manager (PM) is responsible for providing direct management oversight for the assigned Industrial properties. The Property Manager is responsible for maximizing NOI and asset value on behalf of JLL clients. Specific responsibilities include property management, operations, maintenance, client, and tenant relations, supporting the leasing team, marketing, accounts payable collections, annual budgeting, risk management and financial reporting.What You'll Be DoingProviding an experiential approach which guides a differentiated property management experience, resulting in better care and better businessSupport the exponential growth of our business by providing people integration and synergyDevelop our people for bigger and better rolesSupporting ambitions beyond the workplaceApplying new technology and data to drive changeManaging industry changing propertiesAs the Property Manager (PM), you will provide leadership to your team and outstanding customer service to your clients, while managing an industrial portfolio. You are responsible for all aspects of client and tenant satisfaction. As the lead professional, you will also be responsible for preparing budgets and financial reports, managing TI and/or capital improvement projects, and developing your staff. You will be an excellent communicator (both written and verbal) to both building owners and tenants to ensure an ongoing, successful relationship. Your ability to communicate well and manage client, tenant and vendor relationships will allow for seamless conflict resolution and client retention.What We're Looking ForBachelor’s degree preferredMinimum of three (3) years of commercial property management experience including recent experience in one of these (office, retail, industrial, healthcare) is a plusMust have strong financial acumen and experience preparing budgets, CAM reconciliations, and other types of related financial reportsFamiliarity with building systems, lease negotiation, documentation, and administrationCA Real Estate License is required within 120 days.Experience using a property management accounting platform, such as Yardi, Kardin or MRI is requiredA relationship builderBoth verbal and written communication skills are vital, and, of course you’ll be good at establishing relationships with all levels of the organization & external clients.Tech mindedThe real estate industry is consistently changing with technology.
