Accounts Payable Specialist Senior [Remote]

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide support for month-end close processes and projects. Ensure efficient operation and compliance with policies, healthcare industry regulations (i.e., HIPAA), and internal controls. Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to contribute to a positive work environment. Analyze exceptions and resolve internal/external stakeholder concerns.
• Utilize Excel and technology tools effectively to manage spreadsheets, financial software, and automation processes.
• Apply basic accounting knowledge to maintain accurate financial records. Adapt to process changes, system upgrades, and evolving business needs with a willingness to learn.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive financial information with professionalism and ethical responsibility. Manage time effectively to balance daily responsibilities, meet deadlines, and maintain efficiency.

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Experience 3+ years of AP experience or related field is required.
• Healthcare experience is preferred. Infor/Lawson or other large ERP Systems.
• Previous ServiceNow exposure is a plus.

Education/Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required. Business, Finance, or Accounting degree preferred.
